Description

A manuscript map, formerly known as map #326, depicts a survey of a 300-acre tract of land along the Androscoggin River prepared for or by Barstow Sylvester. Survey costs are noted on the map, as well as payments made for "notifying parties" and "plaintiffs," signifying this map was most likely created to help settle a legal boundary dispute.
