Description
Hannah Farmer and her husband Moses Farmer were committed to social justice and put their words into action. For instance, in 1888 Hannah Farmer turned this building "Rosemary Cottage" into a summer home for mothers and children who were seeking relief from the pollution in Boston. Farmer immediately turned the property over to the Boston Missionary Society to run as part of their "Fresh Air Fund" program.
