Description

Map of land surrounding the Sandy River, created by Daniel Coloms. Some of the locations detailed on the manuscript is "black land," "Farmming town," a "mountaine" and "Butthors Pond." The specific location appears to be bordered by modern-day New Vineyard and Farmington. On the reverse is some writing detailing a list of names, and written in graphite is the phrase "Petition of Peter West 1769."
