Description
This map of Portland is from the annual Hay's Guide to Portland and Motoring in Maine, 1928 edition. The H.H. Hay's Sons drug store, which had locations "uptown" on Congress Street and "downtown" on Middle Street in Portland, issued these guides annually. The maps include traffic rules and driving trips as well as information on churches, shopping, theatres and recreation in and around the City. This map is entitled, "New map of Portland proper with principal Streets, car lines, stations & c."
