Description
A photograph shows the Wadsworth-Longfellow House in Portland in about 1910.
This home was built by Peleg Wadsworth (1748-1829) and served as the family home for both the Wadsworth and Longfellow families, including Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (1807-1882) and Anne Longfellow Pierce (1810-1901), who gave the house to the Maine Historical Society in 1901.
