Ready to partake in a downeast clambake at Rockport in June 1982 at the Tenth Annual Conference of the New England Governors and Eastern Canadian Premiers were, clockwise from left, Connecticut Gov. William A. O'Neill, host Maine Governor Joseph E. Brennan, Mrs. M. Rene Levesque and Premier Levesque of Quebec, and Premier Richard B. Hatfield of New Brunswick. The conference lasted three days.
