Description
A group of bundled-up riders set out from Eustis on a cold summer day in a 1911 Stanley steam car on July 1, 1911.
The little girl in the front seat is Thelma Ranger Meader (1904-1998) of Gardiner, Maine. She is seated between her father, Hartley Ranger (right), and Hartland Ranger (left) in his chauffeur's uniform at the wheel of the car. The other five passengers in the car are unidentified.
The car is a 1911 Stanley Model 83 nine passenger Mountain Wagon, registered to the Eustis Auto Company, Eustis.
