Description
The Wadsworth-Longfellow House on Congress Street in Portland is shown in about 1960.
Built by Peleg Wadsworth (1748-1829) and family home for Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (1807-1882) and Anne Longfellow Pierce (1810-1901), it became a historic house musem operated by the Maine Historical Society in 1901.
