Description
The postcard shows a birdseye view of the opening game of the New England League, May 8, 1913 at Bayside Park, Portland.
The card is addressed to Mr. George Bike, Duxbury, Mass., Powder Point School, and is postmarked in Portland, June 5, 1913.
The message reads: "Dear George. -- Am very busy. will write soon. Your last letter made me think and I am thinking yet. Jimmy Curran sends his regards, so does Purington. Let me know when you are coming through this way so I can see you." It is signed "Kid."
