Description
The lilac and green striped silk dress at left dates from about 1860. It was loaned by the Westbrook College campus of the University of New England to the Brick Store Museum for a 1997 exhibit entitled, "Godey's Ladies: An Exhibition of 19th Century Dresses."
The green and black silk brocade dress at right, on loan from Pejepscot Historical Society, also dates to 1860.
