Description
Surveyor General Samuel Holland compiled a new map of lower Canada, detailing seigneuries, townships, and land grants. The map also incorporates a plan of the Scoudiac and Magaguadavic rivers, surveyed from 1796 to 1798 by order of the commissioners tasked with identifying the true river St. Croix as stipulated in the 1783 Treaty of Peace between Britain and the United States.
This map is part of a larger archive, the Thomas Barclay Collection (Coll. 26).
