Description
Houlton's Trotting Park was built in 1914. The track was a half mile track requiring two laps of the track for a one mile race. An area in front of the grand stand was made for the Houlton Town Band to play between the races. In the late 1950's, a boxing ring would be set up in the grand stand for nights of boxing matches. The grand stand burnt down in 1958.
