Description
This woodcut appeared in a book written in 1565 by Giovanni Battista Ramusio, "Delle Navigationi et Viaggi," that described the newly discovered area of New England, and included references to the mythical land of Norumbega, as well as Narraganset Bay (Port de Refugio). pp. 424-425
