Description
Charles M. Moses was elected Mayor of Biddeford at the age of 26 and in 1888 he became the York County Member of the Republican State Committee, a position he held for many years. He was also the paymaster and clerk for the Saco Water Power Machine shops for 25 years.
In 1898 Moses was appointed appraiser for the Port of Portland, and in 1899 he became the Collector.
