Description
Route 201, Topsham - a rural route. The farm at the top of the hill, four miles north of Topsham village, was the Rackley's Dairy Farm.
Stephan Rackley, who moved to Topsham from Greene, deeded the farm to his children John, Frederick, Harry, Alfred, and Ann Pierce in 1847. Six generations of Rackleys owned the farm.
In December 1932, the state bought a small amount of land from the Rackleys for road improvements, including paving.
