Description
The International Fertilizers promotional photograph was taken at the Ludger Berube farm in Caswell. It noted the farm had a yield of 125 twelve-peck barrels per acre.
In the photo, from left, are Ludger's son Lewis Berube, Ludger's daughter, Meda Berube Deschaine; Meda's husband Herman (Armand) Deschaine; and Ludger, wearing a hat.
Herman Deschaine recalled that they worked all day to find the largest potatoes and then stage the photograph.
