Description
The carriage Marion L. was named for John G. Leeman's daughter. His name is painted on the edge of the driver's seat. The carriage served Cape Elizabeth and Scarborough, picking up passengers from a stand at the United States Hotel. The Marion L. was called a barge. The photo is taken at Mitchell's Inn. Joseph Craig (back step) served as host to these tourists from Montreal.
