Description
Main Street in the area of Valle Square in downtown Westbrook during the 1920’s. On the left side is the famous F.W. Woolworth Co. 5 and 10 Cent Store chain, a sign pointing to Rufus H. Sproul’s Bowling alley, and Charles A. Vallee’s Drugs. On the right side of the street was the Eli Herbert’s Westbrook Market, Raymond and Marr Pharmacy, Pride and Carll insurance, Fredette Odilon’s Barber Shop and the Congregational Church.
