Description
As part of the Fourth of July festivities businesses would often take the opportunity to advertise their wares. The management team of the 'Songo Plaids' pose for a photo opportunity in 1895, on the corner of Bridge and Main Street. The shops on this corner consisted of the C. B. Woodman Drug Store, the Winslow and Brown Cigar and Tobacco shop, and the Bragdon Brothers Boots and Shoes store. Offices occupying the second floor of the building where the signs can be seen advertising D. G. H. Hawkes Dentist, a Real Estate Office, and a Law office.
