Description

Grand Army of the Republic parade in 1889, Market Square, Houlton.

To the extreme west (center of the picture) are the buildings of the Jeff Bradbury Furniture Store. Mr. Bradbury lived over the store.

To the right is the Houlton Savings Bank and the Bradbury, Gentle & Ludwig insurance office. E. Merritt & Sons Flour and Grist Mill in the background.

The large building on the right with the mansard roof is the Snell House.
