Town of Deering, Record of Naturalization Papers, 1873–1898

Description

Naturalization papers in the town of Deering were used to prove citizenship for voter's registration. The records span from 1873 to 1898. The log include names, dates and which court the papers in which the papers were filed, and when the town approved the person as a voter. Deering was absorbed into Portland in February 1899.
