Description
This post card image was made about 1900 from an image dated 1880.
The shipyards can be seen.
This photo was taken looking across the Kennebunk River towards Lower Village Kennebunk. The home on the hill, built by a Littlefield, was also owned by members of the Hobbs family and the Gooch families. There is a Littlefield cemetery at the rear of the home. It appears that the railroad depot is not in this image.
