Description
Willy is prepared to show, at the Oxford County Fair of 1976, at the current Oxford County Agricultural Society fair grounds at Oxford, Maine. Willy, belonging to a Norway family, was a chestnut Lippit Morgan. Morgans are a versatile breed of American origin, early on providing sturdy help to the New England farmer, but also training well for carriage, combined driving, dressage and harness racing, all popular at todays county fairs. Donald and Hillary Ware prepare Willy to show. This image appeared in the Norway Advertise Democrat on Sept. 23, 1976.
