Description
This is Main street in Westbrook after a snow storm. Standing on a snow bank next to some of the workers near a group of children is Walter S. Graffam who was one of several barbers in Westbrook with an shop located at 112 Main Street. Walter had a brother who also was a barber, and had a shop on Bridge street. In the 1890s they both opened shop together next to the Post Office where they would remain. Across the street from Walter's shop was the undertaker J. F. Spear at 111 Main Street.
