Description
Portrait photograph of Charles B. Mitchell from the Portland High School class of 1885 photograph album. Charles B. Mitchell was born Oct. 8, 1867 to Albert S. Mitchell. During High School he won the Brown Medal. He married Elizabeth E. Dow in 1897. He lived at 105 Winter Street in Portland in 1900 and worked as a bookkeeper with Merchants National Bank on Exchange St. and was a bond broker with the George A. Fernald Co. on Middle St. until his death in 1918.
