Description
Dr. John L. Johnson was the son of John Spiers and Alice Johnson (daughter of Lewis B. Johnson, president of Farmers National Bank of Houlton).
After his father died John L. Johnson was adopted by his maternal grandfather and his last name was changed to Johnson. Dr. Johnson practiced medicine in Houlton and later moved to Bangor.
He was president of the Maine Medical Association in 1936. Dr. Johnson died in 1937.
