Description
Bangor and Aroostook Railroad’s Derby Yard was the site of the main repair shop. Engines, rolling stock and other equipment were taken to the Derby shop for overhauls. Steam engines were disassembled, worn parts replaced and rebuilt. Note the turntable, roundhouse and numerous sidings.
