Description
The General Chapter of 1964 voted to modify the religious habit - keeping gray, white crucifix and rosary and substituting a veil. The Chapter of 1970 maintained the religious habit, bearing in mind concrete situations that would allow for other options, including the advisability of wearing contemporary attire. The General Chapter entrusted to the Provincial Chapters the task of establishing their own norms. In all instances, the Sisters respect each other's option. The Sisters (Daughters of Wisdom Congregation) started to wear lay clothes in 1973.
