Description
In 1929 Bangor and Aroostook Railroad purchased three American Locomotive Company "Mountain" 4-8-2 engines, engines 100, 101, 102.
With 63-inch diameter drive wheels and weighing over 550,000 pounds with a fully loaded tender, these engines pulled both fast freight and heavy passenger trains.
