Description
Event Records, which operated out of Westbrook, released Dick Curless’ double-sided record that included the songs “The Streets of Laredo" and “Foggy, Foggy Dew” in 1956.
Curless, a Maine-born musician, had 11 songs make the Top 40 on the Billboard country music charts between 1965 and 1972. He was born in Fort Fairfield, lived in the Bangor area most of his life, and died in 1995.
