Description

The crew of the Sunbeam assisted a patient on a stretcher from the MV Andrea Joyce, overseen by the captain. As the patient was lifted aboard the ship, Sans Varnum, the steward, Ralph Joy, the engineer, and Captain Ralph Frye stood on the bow to the right of the image. Bystanders on the dock and crew members aboard the Andrea Joyce watched the action.
