Description

Dr. Hilton H. Applin (1914-1996), a graduate of Bowdoin College, earned a medical degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.

After interning at Central Maine General Hospital in Lewiston, Applin served as an Army physician in Germany during World War II. When he returned to Maine, he went into private practice. In the 1950s, he worked at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Togus.
