Description
Portland Press Herald photographers captured this image of a storm surge at the Ocean Pier in Old Orchard Beach. The violent surge hit Old Orchard in January of 1933.
J.W. Duffy purchased the property in 1913. The Ocean Pier served as a dance hall and casino.
