Description
Josephine Arazella Hannaford (1842-1862) was the youngest child of George and Statira Hannaford. She died one day after her 20th birthday, June 30, 1862. Born into a family of farmers, her nephews Arthur, Howard, and Edward Hannaford founded Hannaford Brothers Company in 1902, now the largest supermarket chain in Maine.
