Description
This image is a bust-length, three-quarter view portrait of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. He is wearing a dark suit with a striped texture. Two buttonholes are visible in the lapels.
The image is inscribed with "1875" written in pencil verso probably by Thomas de Valcourt. The photographer's stamp includes "Lamson [in script] / Portland, ME." printed in gold underneath the image.
