Description
John Brooks "Jack" Howard (1875-1971) photographed two companions paddling a canoe through rough waters, likely on Meddybemps or Clifford Lake, during a hunting and fishing trip to Washington County. The man in the rear of the canoe appears to be a guide identified elsewhere as "Otis."
