Courtesy of John Howard, an individual partner
Description
During a hunting and fishing trip to Washington County, Jack Howard photographed a group of sportsmen establishing a dock for canoes at a landing on Clifford Lake. An individual, possibly Philip J. Teele (1872-1944), secures the dock with a stake as an unidentified sportsman (center) and Leonard Small (1872-1938) look on.
The photograph was also rendered as a hand-colored lantern slide, where the location is identified on the frame label.
