Courtesy of John Howard, an individual partner
Description
John Brooks "Jack" Howard (second from the right) photographed himself with three other men at Norcross station, awaiting the southbound Bangor and Aroostook train. Howard captured the group with the results of their hunt, which included a bearskin, moose trophies, and wrapped deer carcasses.
The photo was taken during a trip along the West Branch of the Penobscot River circa 1905 and is part of a collection of celluloid negatives in a folder labeled "Maine Trip Ed Franks."
