Description
John Brooks "Jack" Howard, during a hunting and fishing trip to Washington County in 1900 or 1901, photographed these four men, barefoot and wearing nightshirts, standing in a woodland with a slain deer hanging from a tree limb.
Philip J. Teele (1872-1944) is at the far left; Leonard Small (1872-1938) is second from the right; Jack Howard (1875-1971) stands at the right, holding an axe.
