Stanley Motor Carriage Co., Newton, Massachusetts
Twins, F.E. and F.O. Stanley were partners in a photographic dry plate business where they produced their first light steam car in 1897.
The Mountain Wagon was used around train stations, lodges, or other areas where large numbers of people had to be transported.
This is a 12 passenger model that was used around the Belgrade Lakes region in Maine.
