Description
A gift to the museum by Rick Floyd. Another edge tool from the famous and prolific Cherryfield edge tool maker.
Size: 12 1/2" long, 1 7/8" wide.
Markings: "G. B. RICKER, CHERRYFIELD".
A gouge has a curved cutting edge at the end of of a blade and is used to cut or pare solid material such as metal or wood.
