1908 Stanley Steamer
Stanley Motor Carriage Co., Newton, MA 1901 - 1924
Front mounted boilers with a coffin like bonnet became standard in 1906. The Stanley could out-accelerate petrol cars. They could manage around 50 miles before having to stop to fill up with water.
