1903 Stanley Steamer
Stanley Motor Carriage Co. of Newton, MA 1901 - 1924
This model had a simple non-condensing engine mounted directly on the rear axle. The boiler was mounted at the front, frames were of wood, and steering was by tiller. Stanley sold many of these models to the police and fire departments.
