Description

Architecture commission for Carroll Phillips Bassett at an unknown address in Summit, NJ, circa 1909. The commission is associated with John Calvin Stevens and John Howard Stevens Architects. This item is part of the Stevens Architects drawings and records collection.

Carroll Phillips Bassett (1863-1952), was a civil engineer in New Jersey. He was engaged in the financing and management of public utility corporations in New Jersey, his principal interests being in the vicinity of Summit and Lakewood. Mr. Bassett resided at "Norcote", Summit, New Jersey.
