Philip Greeley Clifford (1882-1970) was the son of Hon. William and Ellen G. (Brown) Clifford. He was a lawyer and author of the book Nathan Clifford: democrat (1803-1881). He married Katherine Hale in 1905 and the two resided in Portland, Maine.
