Architecture commission for Herbert Payson at 71 Bowdoin Street in Portland, ME, 1904–1916. The commission is associated with John Calvin Stevens. This item is part of the Stevens Architects drawings and records collection.

Herbert Payson (1860-1940) was married to Sally Carroll Brown Payson, the daughter of John Marshall Brown, a Civil War general.
