This camp likely belonged to Harold Marsh Sewall (1860–1924), an American politician and diplomat from Bath, Maine. The son of Arthur Sewall, he served in the Maine House (1896, 1903–1907) and Senate (1907–1909) and was a delegate to the 1896 Republican National Convention. Appointed as the last U.S. Minister to Hawaii, he arrived in 1897 and returned in 1898 after annexation. He ran for Congress in 1914 and joined the Republican National Committee in 1924. He died in New York City and was buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, Bath.
