Col. Frank B. W. Welch was a Military colonel, 1st Regiment, Maine National Guard; affiliated with Loring, Short & Harmon, Portland, Me.; He served as chief of staff on the occasion of the Centennial military parade in 1920 which celebrated the 100th anniversary of Maine's statehood. His wife's name was probably Mary C. Welch.
