Description

Architecture commission for CIty of South Portland at corner of Ocean Street and Broadway in South Portland, ME, 1935–1937. The commission is associated with Miller & Beal Inc. Architects. This item is part of the Beal, DePeter, Ward, Inc. architectural drawings.

Built as a high school around 1924, in the 1950s it became the city's junior high school called Daniel F. Mahoney Jr. High School, and later Mahoney Middle School. It closed as a school in 2023.
