In 1906, John Brooks "Jack" Howard (1875-1971) photographed a landing on an unidentified lake in Maine. Two men stand in a small wooden enclosure by the water, with a long pier visible in the background. The original negative is stored with others labeled "Maine Trip 1906" in a paper glass plate envelope.
